Sap setup: msg#00647db.sapdb.general
Hi, Agree completely that finding info in the docs is too difficult. I find its much faster to google search for the solution of whatever sapdb problem I'm currently stuck on. (Usually takes you to the right page in SAPDB docs or appropriate postings to list).Alternately I search the list. (very useful:-) The problem with the docs is that they don't seem to be written for people new to SAPDB (Once u've worked with SAPDB for a while they're a useful reference). The info in the docs is not in the sequence a new user will need them in. Also solutions to some common problems are not in the docs (Atleast I haven't found them) eg:How do you use repmcli to execute a sql file in SQLMODE oracle? creating DBPROCS in repmcli?-->;; RE:Creating SQL users. What do these lines for DBMcli do? user_put username SQLUSER=YES user_put username GUIRIGHTS=YES after doing that I still need to do this to get the user working properly: ALTER USER username RESOURCE NOT EXCLUSIVE Ajit
