Using the last JDBC driver with WebSphere 4: msg#00642db.sapdb.general
Has anyone been able to configure the SAPDB (7.4) jdbc driver with WebSphere 4.0? I am using the class "com.sap.dbtech.jdbcext.ConnectionPoolDataSourceSapDB", but it is not working, and the WebSphere error message is not very clear: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: java/sql/Savepoint at com.sap.dbtech.jdbcext.PooledConnectionSapDB.getConnection(PooledConnectionS apDB.java:95) at com.ibm.ejs.cm.pool.ConnectO.<init>(ConnectO.java:85) at com.ibm.ejs.cm.pool.JDBC1xConnectionFactory.createConnection(JDBC1xConnectio nFactory.java:42) at com.ibm.ejs.cm.pool.ConnectionPool.createConnection(ConnectionPool.java:914) ........ I wonder if someone can post an extract of his/her server-cfg.xml with the SAPDB stuff. Thank you, Martin
