Wrong version of the JDBC driver in RPMs !: msg#00629db.sapdb.general
Hello. I have upgraded my sapdb server to 7.3.0.29. I have also upgraded the RPMs sapdb-ind and sapdb-callif on all my clients (about 10) with the RPM and I got back some bugs that were fixed some time ago (e.g. : with the ResultSet.getBigDecimal method) . In fact the error is that the jdbc driver installed by the rpm sapdb-callif is not the good one. I deduced from the size of the jar files found on the ftp that the installed version of the JDBC driver is 7.3.0.20. Please could you make an updated version of the RPMs sapdb-ind and sapd-srv with the correct jar file ? By the way, I have another question : Why is the jdbc driver installed by 2 different rpms in 2 different places : sapdb-ind (installs it in /opt/sapdb/interfaces/jdbc/misc) and sapdb-callif (installs it in /opt/sapdb/depend/misc) ? Thanks. Laurent
