Unable to warm the test database on Linux.: msg#00698db.sapdb.general
Hi Everybody I am trying to install SAP on my home pc (SAP on LINUX). The followings file were downloaded from http://www.sapdb.org/rpm_linux.htm SAP DB Environment (5 MB) SAP DB Server (22 MB) The server package includes SAP DB Precompiler for Developers (2 MB) SAP DB Call Interfaces (2 MB) SAP DB Script Interfaces (1 MB) All the package were installed successfully, but still not able to bring the database online. The following commands were provided from root user and their results are in blue [root@localhost bin]# ./dbmcli -s -d TST -u DBM,DBM db_warm ERR -24994,ERR_RTE: runtime environment error 1,Kernel died before reaching COLD state [root@localhost bin]# ./dbmcli -s -d TST -u DBM,DBM db_offline OK [root@localhost bin]# ./dbmcli -s -d TST -u DBM,DBM db_state OK State OFFLINE Looking forward for your support to bring the database online.
