RE: PATCH - Compile Error - Rekall 2.4.5 openSUSE 10.2(X86-64): msg#00012db.rekall.general
Thanks for that Jules. After I apply the patch I now get the following error during make: (I'm using Python 2.5-19 x86_64) script/python/kb_basic.cpp: In function 'PyObject* kbEncryptDict(PyObject*, PyObject*)': script/python/kb_basic.cpp:408: error: cannot convert 'int*' to 'Py_ssize_t*' for argument '2' to 'int PyDict_Next(PyObject*, Py_ssize_t*, PyObject**, PyObject**)' scons: *** [build/kde/script/python/kb_basic.os] Error 1 make: *** [kde] Error 2 I have since found a good SUSE RPM of 2.4.5 and am quite happy with it, but clarifying this issue may help others in the future. Help appreciated KD -----Original Message----- From: rekall-bounces-TvUNdCdnGOiN0BpGcQGnph2eb7JE58TQ@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:rekall-bounces-TvUNdCdnGOiN0BpGcQGnph2eb7JE58TQ@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Julian Sent: Sunday, July 01, 2007 9:55 PM To: rekall-TvUNdCdnGOiN0BpGcQGnph2eb7JE58TQ@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: [Rekall] PATCH - Compile Error - Rekall 2.4.5 openSUSE 10.2(X86-64) Hi, Try this patch Jules On Mon, 2 Jul 2007, Keith Drader wrote: > Hello - Taking another stab at Rekall on Linux.
