You'll need scons.

and go to Getting Rekall/Rekall 2.3.x, this has some basic stuff.

Use settings.mac instead of settings.kde, then

DESTDIR=/Applications/ PYTHONPATH=scons make
DESTDIR=/Applications/ PYTHONPATH=scons make install
DESTDIR=/Applications/ PYTHONPATH=scons ./scons/rkMacPak.py

and you will (should, may, possibly ...) end up with a working Rekall 
in /Applications/Rekall.app

It will build with the MySQL and PgSQL packages from fink (you need unstable 
to get PgSQL)
