many to many: msg#00012db.rekall.general
Hi I am new to Rekall and struggle with a for that should do 3 things: 1. Select a record from the Publication Table and display it in its upper part. (ie get the rith publication refernece displayed) 2. Add a note which gets saved in the Notes table 3. Assign a number of Subjects coming from a Subject table I get either 1 and 2 or 2 and 3 working but not all three on one form. These are my tables: Publication_Table(Holds biliographic entries, starts with Publication_ID) Notes_Table(has Notes_ID, Rublication_ID, Notes, Date) Subject_Table (has Subject_ID, Subject) LinkNotesSubject_Table (has LinkNotesSubject_ID, NotesID, Subject_ID) Somehow this form has to update two tables namely the Notes_Table and the LinkNotesSubject_Table. Am I asking too much of Rekall? Should I break this into two forms and make the second modal? Have you guys any insights that can help me? I have read over the manual x times I searched the Web for answers all to no avail. I keep trying ... but any help would be great!
