Yes this is one of those admin things.

A typical Linux package will however include configuration for logrotate 
which then will rotate and remove logs appropriately.  I don't know any 
version of Linux that does not include logrotate.  If you have logrotate 
but it's not configured to rotate munin logs it's really simple to 
configure.
