Nope, this doesn't solve the problem. However, I had a hunch and
tried changing
my metacity theme. Strangely, some themes do show the frame's content
(Simple,
Crux, Default, Grand Canyon, Mist, Ocean Dream, Smokey Blue, Sphere
Crystal,
Traditional) but quite a few do not (Amaranth, Glider, Gorilla,
Industrial,
Lush, Nuvola, Wasp).
Um, demasking myself as beeing not too familiar with fancy desktop
themes, where do I find these, how do I select them with KDE?
Hi Andreas,
in fact I think they are gnome themes.
Under Debian, install the package "gnome-themes-extras" and log in under
Gnome.
The themes are selectable from the gnome panel:
Applications -> Desktop preferences -> Themes
I confirm that the "logging" panel is unviewable under certain
conditions. At least, the Gorilla theme makes it disappear... :(
"Guepe" does the same thing...
Really strange... And this is "dynamic":
if you let the window opened and change the theme, the logging panel
disappears or reappears "on the fly" (both the selectable and text
informations).
Can someone check this on another linux distro please ? Maybe I missed
something when I released the pga3 packages...
Regards,
Raphaël
