How to uninstall old ODBC versions?

I am trying to uninstall an old pqslodbc.dll version 7.03.01 and replace it with
8.0 version.

The install msi always stops with the message that the previous one should be
uninstalled with add remove programs, where it can't be found?

Does anyone know how to fix this problem?
