Re: iODBC vs unixODBC: msg#00059db.postgresql.odbc
Ok, I got it working. I changed 2 things. 1) I'm connecting to localhost instead of my machine name. This causes postgreSQL to use a local socket instead of a TCP socket. 2) Because of 1 and how my security is setup I am no longer using md5 authentication to connect.
