Gcc3.2 and MingW

I have MingW and gcc-3.2, and I am trying to build MySQL++ 1.7.9. However, I 
cannot find a copy of autoconf/automake that works. I have seen one at 
gnu-win32 project at sourceforge, but I can't seem to get it working. 
Has anyone else managed to get this to build? Does anyone have a working 
makefile for windows and gcc3.2?
