Problems with mysqld-max and Innodb

Hi, thanks for reading this,

I have been trying for a long time to work with Innodb
tables.I read everything I could but nothing seems to work.

I have Windows Millenium and Mysql 3.23.52.
In my.ini file I put

innodb_data_file_path = ibdata:100M

under [mysqld] section, but when I start the mysql-max server
my computer freezes. When I remove that line (innodb_data...)
everything works fine but without having Innodb.
