mysql connector fails install: msg#00001db.mysql.odbc
Hello, I have been trying to install mysql-connector-3.51.12-win32 on a Windows XP Home machine running service pack 2. I choose a "Complete" installation in the setup wizard. It seems to copy the files, install odbc components, and register. I receive the following message. "The wizard was interrupted before MySQL Connector/ODBC 3.51 could be completely installed. Your system has not been modified." I did a successful install on another machine also running Windows XP Home and that went fine. Any suggestions where to look?
