HI there, I am currently working on Win XP and linking with a MySql Database on a linux server. This has been working fine for long....Then I had to delete a user on the PC and add another one....this i did without any problem . Problem arises when i have to install everything back for the new user....... I had installed myodbc-2.50 NT on the previous user and installed it on the new user also.....but when i try to connect to teh database ..this is what i get...... 'The setup Routines for the MySql Odbc Driver cound not be found. Please reinstal the driver' I have installed the new odbc versions but they create problems and have many bugs....like reading an SQL syntax.....I need to have teh old drivers installed.... hope anyone can help...
