Installing MyODBC in WinXT

I have tried many times to install MyODBC on WinXT multiple times. This has 
been on 3 machines, 2 running home edition, the other professional edition.

If I run the exe connector installation, all seems to go well and it 
reports success, but when I try to set up a DSN, the MsSQL driver is not there.

I tried in safe mode, but installation stops because the MS installer is 
not available.

I did the same thing on one of our Win2K machines and it works fine.

Using the .msi version of connector/odbc, I get an error that a file called 
WIS29042B1C07134575B7CA5C8E7B0899D4_3_51_9.MSI  could not be read.


Any suggestions?
