If you have SQL Server you can set up a linked server, use the "openquery" function to grab the subset of MySQL data you need then do the work in a stored procedure and suck it from there, if you have Access you can link the tables or use pass through queries to get the data then do the work in VBA in Access, or you could suck the data straight into Excel and use VBA behind the scenes to do the work there.
