Access to mySQL migration not working good

Hi everyone.  I am new to this list and am seeking a possible solution to a problem I am having with an attempted Access to mySQL migration.

 

Here is the situation... I have a server application that talks to the odbc that I tell it to on this winxp machine ... the default database is access but the server manual says you can use any database engine that has an ODBC driver which mySQL has.  I have the driver installed on this winxp machine and the mySQL server is running on another machine (linux) on the same network.  When I test the configuration it is successful.  I have all the latest data access components, service packs and jet engine packs installed.  I used mySQL-Front to export the data from the access database to the mySQL server successfully.  It seems that the server is talking with the database when it first starts up but it abruptly shuts down.

 

I used the Trace option to log everything from the adbc control panel and have attached the file ... I cannot make heads or tails of it so I was hoping somebody here could and tell me how to fix the problem.  I really would like to use mySQL for this serverapp and not a regular Access database!!!

 

Any and all help/hints/tips are appreciated...
