Problems with Data Binding using MyODBC

Greetings.

I am trying to do Remote Data Service type of data binding.

Platform Windows 2000 AS,
MySQL on localhost:3306 + MyODBC-3.51.06 name "myodbc",with all default fields 
filled in, tested OK
Data to be bound: DHTML <table> to MySQL table

according to 
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/workshop/author/databind/datasources.asp
I create DHTML object
<OBJECT classid="clsid:BD96C556-65A3-11D0-983A-00C04FC29E33"
    ID=dsoMyDSO HEIGHT=50 WIDTH=50>
    <PARAM NAME="Server"  VALUE="localhost:3306">
    <PARAM NAME="Connect" VALUE="DRIVER={MySQL ODBC 3.51
Driver};SERVER=localhost;DATABASE=remclub;UID=remclub;PWD=remclub;OPTION=3;">
    <PARAM NAME="SQL"     VALUE="select id,name from dbspa;">
</OBJECT>

I also tried other parameters
<OBJECT classid="clsid:BD96C556-65A3-11D0-983A-00C04FC29E33"
    ID=dsoMyDSO HEIGHT=50 WIDTH=50>
    <PARAM NAME="Server"  VALUE="localhost:3306">
    <PARAM NAME="Connect" VALUE="dsn=myodbc;uid=remclub;pwd=remclub">
</OBJECT>


Table to be bound to data:
<TABLE DATASRC=#dsoMyDSO DATAPAGESIZE=10>
<TR>
<TD><SPAN DATAFLD=id></SPAN></TD>
<TD><SPAN DATAFLD=name></SPAN></TD>
</TR>
</TABLE>

This does not work. Why?
