g++ 2.96 with Mysql++ 1.7.9: msg#00668db.mysql.general
Hi, I'm a newbie in MySQL and it's developement I tried to run examples of MySQL++ API and compile with g++ 2.96. It seems that this version of compiler is not supported. I found a patch of MySQL++ to make it working with g++ 3.0, but I don't know how to apply this patch. I tried patch -pl < patchfile but asked me a strip count. What does it means and how can I use my compiler to compile my code ?
