HI!

I do not doubt your development skills, but can you please try our binary 
tarball from our site ??

Most of the problems of the above kind are resolved by using our binary.

It is true that our 3.23.51 binary has some little problems, but 3.23.52 which 
will be out very soon
should resolve those.

Also, add --warnings to mysqld startup args and see if there are any messages 
in .err file.
