DEFAULT SERIAL: msg#00064db.maxdb
it should work. did you try with other tables ? I had the same problem with one table among 15 - 14 worked, one not. I had deleted and recreated the default value several times - maybe this was the reason. Finally I recreated the table without default, inserted the records and then added the default.... By the way, I am running 7.6.00.3, but this is not a version problem - I did that on SAPDB and it worked. I am having a problem when answering to this list - my answers are received by the lists mailserver, but they never are added to the list.
