RE: Status of MySQL-Proxy for MaxDB?

Hi Hermann,

Thank you for your inquiry regarding the MySQL proxy.

Unfortunately, I need to inform you that we have decided to discontinue
the MySQL-Proxy development for MaxDB. During the development we
discovered that the challenge, of achieving a professional, efficient
and useful MySQL interface for MaxDB using the proxy, was much higher
than the expected benefits for our communities.

To facilitate communication between the MaxDB and the MySQL server, we
plan to utilize the upcoming Synchronization Manager functionality. I
will inform more about this later.
