SAPCAR, gtar and the tests: msg#00235db.maxdb
I'm trying to build the test suite but I'm failing to construct the tar files since SAPCAR is not available on the new platform. Replacing with gtar (GNU tar) leads to an error because SAPCAR: -T FILE : rename files to be included in FILE gtar: -T file-of-names (this is sqldbctest.mac btw...) So it's not possible to create and rename the tests with one command. Since I have no idea why they are renamed I don't know how to proceed; maybe it's necessary to copy them over somewhere, rename and then create an archive?
