Hi,

as far as I know, MaxDB 7.6 is expected for Q1/2005. I don't know about the 
Synchronization Manager in particular.

The Synchronization Manager was not build with maximum performance in mind. 
The underlying Java Message System will not be able to handle high-end 
traffic situations in realtime.  It's most exiting features are:

 - asynchronous replication
 - schema transformation
 - collision handling

The SynchManager might not perform well for realtime replication in all cases. 
Tests with the final version need to be done to come up with performance 
figures. Please do not make any prejudgements and don't be disappointed 
before you've run a test with your application.
