Issue with jdbc resultset ....

When i keep refreshing a resultset to get it in sync with changes in
other screens by the users i ocasionally get:

Or this error:
com.sap.dbtech.jdbc.exceptions.NotSupportedException: SAP DBTech JDBC:
Method first() of MemoryResultSet is not supported.

Or an error figuring the number of columns in the resulting resultset
(it returns 0 when if previous and next calls it returns correct
values, the 0 is occasional)

Anybody knows why does this happen? Is there any connection or
preparedstatement parameter that i miss?

My prepared statement:
getConexion().prepareCall(fn,ResultSet.TYPE_SCROLL_INSENSITIVE,ResultSet.CONCUR_READ_ONLY);

My connection string:
jdbc:sapdb://10.1.1.4/SGA
