Migration SAP DB 7.4.03.32 to MaxDB 7.5.0.19: msg#00179db.maxdb
Hi all, i try to migrate from SAP DB 7.4.03.32 to MaxDB 7.5.0.19 on 2 computers with Suse 9.2, installed with RPM. All i read on the web was, that it is only possible on one machine. Right? I have to install the SAP DB 7.4.03.32 restore the database, uninstall SAP DB and install MaxDB with the TGZ-files. And upgrade the database with SDPUPD? If i make a backup and restore, MaxDB is missing the 'snapshot' table. Or is there any way to migrate with two machines?
