Choosing A Webhost:
A web hosting service is a type of Internet hosting service that allows individuals and organizations to provide their own website accessible via the World Wide Web. Yes, both data and log volumes are intact. It's just that I refered "without
backup" as having no backup created from the SAPDB Database Manager. I only
need to attach the volumes again to SAP DB but don't know how.

Big thanks to you Tilo, I will try the steps you gave on Monday.

Kind Regards,

Red

Hello Christian,

I didn't understood that. If the data and log volumes are still there and no
backup is available, one can do the following:

1.) Create a new database with the same parameters as the old one. Especially
the number and sizes of data and log volumes should match the old database.

2.) Stop the new database.

3.) Substitute the data and log volumes of the new database with the
corresponding data and log volumes from the old database.

4.) Restart the new database with the old volumes.

As far as I have understood, the data and log volumes weren't lost. The OP is
apparently looking for a step by step guide how he can re-use the existing
volumes with a new DB instance without losing the database contents.
