maxdb odbc for windows / sapdb odbc is limited to 3sign

hi all,

does there exist a odbc driver from maxdb for windows?

cause with the odbc from sapdb i have problem seagate crystal reports 
8.0 is unable to save the complete odbc drivername?

the name is assist, and go's to a sapdb, i am logged on with username 
stegbth, which belongs to a usergroup.

when i create the report and save it, it remembers the odbc driver-name 
only to ass, so if i want to fill it with data (after closing crw and 
reopen it) the first question is, what odbc to use, cause ass doesn't 
exxist of course. the next it remember's only to ste from my usename, 
instead of stegbth.

i am running the parts on a windows nt4 sp6 terminalserver

any ideas?
