__________________________Call for Papers____________________________ 2005 International Workshop on Web and Mobile Information Systems (WAMIS'05) http://dragon.acadiau.ca/~eshakshu/CIDS/AINA05_WAMIS05/index.htm in conjunction with the 19th IEEE International Conference on Advanced Information Networking and Applications (AINA2005) http://www.mine.tku.edu.tw/AINA2005 Tamkang University, Taipei, Taiwan, March 28-30, 2005 The recent advances in Web and mobile technologies have dramatically changed the way information is accessed and managed thereby opening new scenarios for the consumption and exchange of information. These technologies offer exciting ways of accessing and manipulating distributed information. Consequently, new challenges and opportunities have been provided to the research community of the Web and mobile computing. This workshop aims to bring researchers from different fields in an effort to highlight the state-of-the-art and discuss the challenges and opportunities to explore the advances on recent development of Web and Mobile Information Systems (WAMIS). We invite submissions that address both theoretical and practical issues of WAMIS. Suggested topics include, but not limited to: - Innovative Web information systems - Web and mobile applications - Semantic web and Web services - Pervasive information systems - Human-Web agent interactions - Middleware technologies for mobile-web applications - Agent technologies, systems and architectures - Web services and grid computing - Mobile transaction and workflow processing - Network-based mobile computing - Discovery and composition of ubiquitous services - Data management for Web and Mobile Computing - Novel information searching techniques PAPER PUBLICATION The WAMIS workshop accepted papers will be published by IEEE CS Press. Authors of high quality papers presented in the workshop will be invited to submit extended version of their papers for publication in special issues of the International Journal of Information and Software Technology (Published by Elsevier) and the International Journal of Mobile Computing and Commerce (Published by Idea Group Publishing). PAPER SUBMISSION Only full papers in English will be accepted. The length of the paper is limited to 6 single-spaced double column IEEE format pages (http://computer.org/cspress/instruct.htm). Papers may only be submitted electronically through the workshop website (http://133.14.18.107/~aina2005/wamis/REG-paper/). All papers will be reviewed by independent reviewers.
