The deadline for early registration has been extended to Tuesday August 3
because of an error in the hotel reservation information that kept people
from making room reservations.
The Royal York hotel has also agreed to reserve the room block and special
room rates for VLDB participants until the new deadline.

VLDB 2004 CALL FOR PARTICIPATION

30th International Conference on Very Large Data Bases

August 29 - September 3, 2004



VLDB 2004 continues the 30-year tradition of VLDB conferences as the premier
international forum for database researchers, vendors, practitioners,
application developers, and users to present, discuss and exchange ideas on
the latest developments in database technologies and applications.
The conference will take place Tuesday August 31 to Friday September 3.
Eight workshops will be held on site Sunday August 29 to Monday August 30.

The conference is being held at the very centre of Downtown Toronto, in one
of the finest hotels in North America. For attractions in Toronto please
