The Special Track (ST) seeks for quality papers on systems, methods or techniques that integrate an AI technology/methodology with another AI or non-AI technology/ methodology. Topics of interest include (but not limited to) the following: Case-based Reasoning Integrations Fuzzy Expert Systems Genetic Algorithms Integrations Hybrid Knowledge Representation Systems Integration of Data Mining and Databases Integration of Data Mining and Knowledge Management Integration of Neural Networks and Expert Systems Intelligent Agent Based Integrated Systems Intelligent Decision Support Systems Knowledge-Based Neural Networks Knowledge Extraction from Neural Networks Integrated Knowledge Representation on the Web Neuro-Fuzzy Evolutionary Systems Web-based Applications with AI Hybrid and Distributed Ontologies Interested authors should format their papers according to AAAI formatting guidelines. The papers should not exceed 6 pages and are due by October 22nd, 2004. Submissions will be done electronically via the FLAIRS web submission system available at http://earth.cs.ccsu.edu/~flairs/submission.html, must be original work and should not identify author(s) in any manner.
