XIII International Congress on Computing (CIC´2004) October, 11-15, 2004 Mexico City, Mexico The Center for Computing Research (CIC-IPN) invites the researchers and students in computer science and related areas to participate in the XIII International Congress on Computing (CIC´2004). CIC´2004 is an international forum for the computer science, computer engineering, and artificial intelligence community to present and discuss the state of the art of research and development. CIC'2004 will include full papers and student posters. It will also feature invited talks from the leading researchers in the field. CIC´2004 is supported by the ACM - Association for Computer Machinery, and CyT Américas - Science and Technology of the Americas' Foundation. Papers submitted to the Congress may be written in Spanish or English. Proceedings: The proceedings (Spanish or English) of the Congress will be published in CD version (e-Proceedings). Selected papers of the Congress in English, will be published in CIC´s "Research on Computing Science" Series. Authors Instructions: We strongly recommended the use of the LNCS Springer-Verlag paper formats (MS-Word). http://www.springer.de/comp/lncs/authors.html. The papers should be from 6 to12 pages in the LNCS Springer format, should be written in Microsoft Word, and contain an abstract of 100-150 words and no more than 10 keywords placed after the abstract. Drawings, figures, and high-quality/blank-white photos should be placed within the text area, according to the required margins. Papers should be submitted through the web page: http://www.cic.ipn.mx/eventos/cic2004/. The Congress presentations will be in Spanish or in English.
