ICWE 2004 - CALL FOR WORKSHOP PROPOSALS


ICWE'04,
Fourth International Conference on Web Engineering,
July 28-30, 2004

Munich, Germany

will offer complementary to the main conference program a series of focused
workshops and tutorials.

We invite to submit proposals for workshops promoting highly interactive forums
for exchanging novel results, conducting in-depth discussions on a
specific topic, or coordinating work among representatives of a
technical community.
Workshops will last for one full day, and will be held on 26 and 27 July.


PROPOSAL

The workshop proposal should include the following items:

* Name of the workshop.

* Names and affiliations of the organiser(s), identifying one primary contact.

* A 200 words abstract, describing the Workshop major topics, goals and
expected outcomes.

* Motivation: relevance of the workshop to the Web Engineering community;
references to other workshops organised by the proponents at ICWE or other
conferences.

* Expected number of workshop participants (minimum and maximum).

* Facilities, equipments and materials required.

* A draft of the Call for Papers/Presentations, briefly describing the goals of
the workshop, the maximum number of accepted participants, the participant
selection process, the schedule of the activities, and the organisers'
biography.

* A short description of the activities that workshop organisers propose to
undertake for the success of the workshop upon acceptance of the proposal.

WORKSHOP PUBLICATION

A selection of papers of each workshop will be published in a post-proceeding
volume by Rinton Press (http://www.rintonpress.com).
Workshop organizers will be required to edit the camera-ready version of papers
for the workshop proceedings.

We encourage workshop organizers to print informal proceedings and distribute
them at the workshop place or
make this material available online for downloading previous to the workshop
date.

March 19 Notification of acceptance/rejection
March 25 Publishing Call for workshop Contributions on ICWE2004 web
site
May 10 Deadline for workshop contributions
June 7 Notification to authors
July 26-27 Workshops take place
