Position at professor level - Faculty of Science - University of Blois-Tours-Chinon (France)

The University of Blois-Tours-Chinon (France) invites applications
for a position at professor level. Applicants must have a PhD in
Computer Science or closely related discipline and have the French 
professor qualification approval

We particularly welcome candidates whose research work demonstrates
a solid background in databases. 

This position offers a unique opportunity for a candidate
to have two related leadership roles: as the head of
the undergraduate program in Computer Science of the Faculty 
of Science in Blois, and as the coordinator of the Database 
research team. The successful candidate is also expected to teach 
undergraduate and graduate courses in Computer Science.
Knowledge of the Greek language is required, as the language 
of instruction is Greek. 

The Faculty of Science in Blois includes a Bachelor and a 
Master in the field of Information Systems and Networking.
It has seven full-time associate professors who maintain 
research activities in the Database domain (working in particularly 
with theoretical aspects of databases, OLAP and data mining, 
semi-structured databases and XML).
