ABOUT ICDE 2004

The ICDE 2004 International Conference on Data Engineering provides a premier
forum for:
* sharing research solutions to problems of today's information society;
* exposing practicing engineers to evolving research, tools, and practices
and providing them with an early opportunity to evaluate these;
* raising awareness in the research community of the problems of practical
applications of data engineering;
* promoting the exchange of data engineering technologies and experience
among researchers and practicing engineers;
* identifying new issues and directions for future research and development
work.
