Topics of Interest ------------------ The conference technical sessions will be organized around the major theme of "ADVANCED TECHNOLOGIES, APPLICATIONS AND BUSINESS STRATEGIES FOR INFORMATION INTEGRATION" The technical sessions will include Invited talks, Peer reviewed technical program, Demos, short papers, and posters, Tutorials, Panels, Invited sessions on the same or related topics, Industrial presentations and demos, Exhibitions around the following topics: - Information Systems Integration - Web Engineering and Web Applications - Innovative Business and Marketing Models - Technologies for Information Integration - Data and Knowledge Management - Value Added Web Applications and Services - Intelligent Data and Information Retrieval - Multimedia Data and Information Management - E-Commerce Frameworks & Applications - Mobile Internet Access Important Dates --------------- May 1, 2004 Proposals for panels, tutorials, invited sessions June 15, 2004 Full Papers submission July 1, 2004 Short Papers, Posters, Demos, Industrial Presentations submission July 15, 2004 Acceptance/ Rejection Notification August 5, 2004 Camera-Ready Papers August 23-25, 2004 Conference Publication of Papers --------------------- All accepted conference papers will be published by the Austrian Computer Society (OCG) books-l3Du0E9ALUA@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx series (http://www.ocg.at/activities/books/indexengl.html). Selected papers will be further considered for publication in the International Journal of Web Engineering (http://www.rintonpress.com/journals/jwe) . Submission Guidelines --------------------- The iiWAS2004 conference solicits full and short research papers as well as proposals for panels, tutorials, and invited sessions. Authors are requested to register the abstract of their papers and to submit the full paper electronically by June 15, 2004. For paper registration and electronic submission please use the conference website ((http://www.iiwas.org/conferences/iiwas2004). The length of the paper should not exceed 10 pages for full papers and 5 pages for short papers, demos, and posters. Papers must be formatted according to the guidelines of the Austrian Computer Society (OCG). Submitted papers will be carefully evaluated based on originality, significance, technical soundness, and clarity of exposition.
