FACULTY POSITIONS at FATIH UNIVERSITY, ISTANBUL, TURKEY

Department of Computer Engineering

The Department of Computer Engineering at  Fatih University invites 
applications for 2 open positions.  These positions are primarily at the 
assistant  professor level,  but applicants at higher ranks will be considered. 
Specialists from all areas of computer science and engineering  are encouraged  
to  apply.   Requirements include a Ph.D.  in computer science or a  closely  
related  discipline,  a commitment  to  teaching, and outstanding research. 
Candidates are expected to teach 1-3 courses per semester, supervise master 
students and conduct research. The department offers BS and MS. Department of 
Computer Engineering was founded in 1998 and has more than 100 students.

Fatih University is situated near Istanbul, about 30 miles. Istanbul is the 
biggest industrial, cultural, and economical, touristic and historical center 
of Turkey. It is also one of major cities in the Middle East and Balkans.  
Because of its rich history, it attracts many from different corners of the 
world. Located right in the middle of Asia and Europe, it also houses many 
national and international companies. This opens up unique opportunities for 
the Department of Computer Engineering.
