Call for Papers for the Special Session on =========================================================== Security and Trust Aspects of Telecommunication Systems =========================================================== within the 11th International Conference on Telecommunication Systems Modeling and Analysis Monterey, CA - October 2-5, 2003 =========================================================== The session will provide a forum for researchers and practitioners to meet and discuss the gavarious security issues involved in the design and use of computer networks and distributed systems. Papers are invited in areas such as (but not limited to) the following: + secure protocol modeling and development + authorization and access control models in distributed systems + security aspects in e-commerce + information flow issues + firewall technology + intrusion detection systems + distributed trust management + administration of firewalls and other safeguards + risk analysis in distributed systems + trust-based architectures in e-commerce and e-government + credential-based authorization in e-commerce + encryption Important dates April 1, 2003: Deadline for paper (extended abstract) submission June 15, 2003: Notification of acceptance August 15, 2003: Deadline for final manuscripts October 2-5, 2003: Conference dates If you are interested in submitting a paper, please send a complete paper or an extended abstract by April 1, 2003 to Peter.Herrmann-m7g9PNeuyZw72m5zVzzQFYQuADTiUCJX@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Full paper contribution will be considered for publication in the "Telecommunication Systems" journal.
