The conference aims at bringing together experts in software engineering and knowledge engineering to discuss on relevant results in either software engineering or knowledge engineering or both. The second theme is web engineering and design issues for the web such as synchronization, V&V, searching and spatial reasoning. Five workshops will be organized around these two themes.
