Call For Papers The 6th Internatinoal Conference on VISual Information Systems (VIS'2003) Florida International University Miami, Florida, USA September 24 -- 26, 2003 Following the successes of the previous International Conferences of VISual Information System which had been held in Melbourne, San Diego, Amsterdam, Leon and Taiwan, the 6th International Conference on VISual information systems is a particularly special event in that it will be held in conjunction with the 9th International Conference on Distributed Multimedia Systems, DMS'03, at Florida International University, Miami, Florida, USA. The synergy of the two closely related research communities of distributed multimedia computing and visual information systems is expected to generate exciting discussions and lively exchanges that will lead to new paradigms and approaches in the respective fields.
