DPSpool - printing problem

Hi Tim,

This is another go at fixing a problem I discussed with you some time ago,
the last time I did a Printer upgrade. Now we are trying another brand of
printer
thought I have another go at it.
Basically I use DPSpool with ink jet printers for Quotes etc on A4 paper and
all is fine. Our Factory production orders are fairly wide and are printed
on
line flow forms using Wide Dot Matrix printers. Have been unable to use
DPSpool on these reports simply because the printers will only print a max
of slightly wider than A4 size???  and the print outside that simply doesn't
appear irrespective on any of the <249> codes I attempt to use
Panasonic KXP3696 wide dot matrix and now an Oki ML721 printer give the same
results. Getting bold codes - underline codes and font changes
all working fine - its just that I can't get printing to go further across
the page than about 21mm (approx 8 !/2 inches) Printing doesn't wrap it just
doesn't
print at all past that point. Does any obvious reason jump out at you why
this could be - apart from the printers simply do not recognize any
<249> codes Landscape, Custom size, Microsoft paper size codes - none of
these appear to make any difference. I am using the <249> codes as the 1st
line in the reports and have tried other positions for the codes in a effort
to get it working

Have just noticed that when viewing the report in DPSpool manage print view
that the <249> codes don't appear in the report as the other codes do - I
imagine the problem lies there.
Appreciate your input and I'm hoping I'm doing something basic wrong
