A custom query should not run until the user clicks the "Run" button -------------------------------------------------------------------- Key: COUCHDB-90 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/COUCHDB-90 Project: CouchDB Issue Type: Improvement Components: Administration Console Affects Versions: 0.9 Reporter: Matt Goodall The view build time for new/custom queries against a large database is long and processor intensive. In addition the default custom view functions (emit all docs with a null key) are only useful as a guide/template. I suggest that the custom query tool only requests the view once the user explicitly clicks on the "Run" button. It would also make more sense if the "View Code" panel is always visible. -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA. - You can reply to this email to add a comment to the issue online. |
