Thanks for the offer, but I don't really need another title for my CV at
this point.  I am, of course, always happy to implement anything I propose
(and that offer is implicit in the proposal), but for decision making I'd
rather see us use a concensus approach rather than me (or anyone) being sole
arbiter.

Actually I wasn't at all, but since I'm unable to make my proposal
understood and it's taken far more time than it deserves, I'll withdraw it.
