Here is an alternative visor that I found - a flexible visor that attaches with
Velcro. I took it off the kayaking helmet and put on the bike helmet when I
realized how ineffective the normal visor is on a bike helmet when sitting in
recumbent position. I think the typical bike helmet visor is not much more
than decoration - not very useful on a DF bike either.

easily adjust how far you want the visor to tip down by moving where it
attaches to the Velcro at the sides.

The carbon fiber visor looks great though -- maybe will try one some day.
