Subject: Re: 10/07/05: Do we belong on bike paths?

IOwa has mostly streets and roads, very few "bike trails" and most (not all
really) are "recreational" in nature and do not REALLY go from one place to
another. One that I honestly enjoy riding, no matter what I am using, is
just such, It starts basically nowhere and goes pretty much nowhere else.
But another one runs about 50 miles or more (close to 60 or more now really)
some paved, some "packed limestone screening" and is pretty good if you are
not particularly worried about getting anywhere quickly.
