Green speeds use bushes for the kingpins. While the Logo trikes use
Headset bearings.
So obviously both are usable - Keeping ball bearings away from water is
usually a good idea
as it dosen't take much contamination of the grease for corrosion to
have an effect. That said I know
a couple of Logo trike owners who have the headset style kingpins and
they have had no problems.
We went for Bronze bushes when we built our Trikes (2 GTE's and a
smaller one) and they have
worked out fine.
