5th Annual Street Theater Festival!!!!!

Howdy!

 

You are cordially invited to attend the Prompting Theater's 5th Annual Street Theater Festival, taking place Saturday, April 22nd, in downtown Urbana. 

 

This year's festival features:

     excerpts from Laramie Project by Central High Drama Department at noon,

     storytelling by Helen Katz at 1 pm

     theater by the Performers' Workshop Ensemble at 2 pm

     comedy by the Prompting Theater at 3 pm,

     a script written by the Prompting Theater and performed by festival workers at 4

     excerpts from Pippin by The Station Theater at 5 pm

     improv by the Zoo Impr ov Troupe at 6 pm

     classic TV comedy sketches by the Rantoul Theater Group at 7 pm

 

Also, games and raffles (tickets at $1), comedy sketches, and all sorts of fun throughout the whole day.

 

AND, 40 North's Boneyard Arts Festival is also happening that day, and so you can enjoy a whole day of artistic events, indoors and outdoors in downtown Urbana.

 

So, enjoy the coming of spring, and float through downtown Urbana to see some great theater, and support the Prompting Theater, the local theater troupe comprised of adults with developmental disabilities.
