Subject: Casting out the Pretenders

"Upon Cardinal Mazarin's death, the County passed to his niece,
Hortense, then to the Duke of Mazarin. His heirs milked substantial
revenues from the territory, while selling large swathes of land.

On the eve of the great Revolution, the Princes of Monaco sold all
of their Alsacian possessions, although they legitimately conserved
the title of Count of Ferrette, and still do to this to this day."

My Rougemont/Ferrette ancestors were driven out of their Country by
the armed forces of the Pope, our lands sold to Catholics by an
agent of Saint Paul the serial-killer of the original Christian
church. Cardinal Mazarin was a thief and a murderer. Rosemont, and
Ferrette was sold to the Prince of Monaco.

It is alleged that Princess Grace was a member of the Solar Temple
group, a neo-Templar cult that was involved in many suicides and
murders. They too tried to claim what was not theirs. I do not
support their claims and pretentions.

On this page you see a photo of a Ferrette next to the present
Habsburg ruler. I am going to investigate how I can reclaim titles
to what rightfully belongs to the Rougemonts who were Huguenots, if
only in a spritual way.

Jon Presco

Lord of Rosemont

Mazarin and the Grimaldis (1648-1789)

In the wake of the Thirty-Year War, the Sundgau (southern Alsace)
and the Alsatian Jura lay in ruins. Famine, epidemics and massacres
had decimated the population by 85%. Many villages, such as
Hüttingue near Oltingue had been simply wiped off the map.
King Louis XIV conferred the County of Ferrette on Cardinal Mazarin
in 1656, disregarding the pretentions of Italian noble, Count
Ferretti who claimed to be a descendant of the XIII century Counts
of Ferrette (possibly of Louis the parricide who died in Italy in
1335).

The Cardinal, then Prime Minister, was a wily caretaker. He resolved
to repopulate the region, inviting citizens of Switzerland and
Vorarlberg, Austria to "colonise" the desolate territory. Knowledge
of French was of little importance. Being of Catholic faith was the
only prerequisite.

The land sales would continue under the Grimaldi family, to whom
control of the territory passed with the marriage of Mazarin
heiress, Duchess Louise Félicité Victoire, and Prince Honoré IV of
Grimaldi, Prince of Monaco."

"When in 1232 the count de Ferrette and the bishop make peace, this
one gained definitively the part and preserves the share of Dabo.
The count de Ferrette remains in possession on behalf of Vaudémont
whose name survives in the tower of seat which then becomes the keep
of a third castle.

History of the Alsatian Jura (...part 2)

The Habsburgs (1324-1648)
The grandfather and father of Jeanne de Ferrette's husband, (Rudolf
I and Albert I respectively), had both been elected Emperor. Albert
II's elder brother, Frederic, however, failed to be elected by one
vote. At his death, Albert II or 'Albert the Wise', as he was known,
inherited his possessions and was accorded the title of Arch Duke.
The imperial crown would not return to the family for another
century, when it was bestowed upon Frederic III.
Until 1648, the County of Ferrette - one of the Habsburg's personal
possessions - was part of the outlying regions of the Empire
(Vorländer i.e. situated to the west of the Alps) along with much of
Alsace, Lorraine, the Franche-Comté, Burgundy and the Bade country.
The Vorländer were governed from the Regency Hotel at Ensisheim
(south of Colmar) by various brothers, sisters-in-law, cousins and
nephews, etc. of the Emperor.

Under attack from the Ottomans to the East and the Protestant
Princes (including the King of Sweden) in the Upper Rhine region
(with the tacit encouragement not to say financial support of
Richelieu then Mazarin), the Habsburgs were forced by the Treaty of
Westphalia (1648) to relinquish their personal possessions in Alsace
to the King of France.

That is how in 1648, the County of Ferrette and the Alsatian Jura
came to be French. It was French before Strasbourg and the rest of
Alsace and long before neighbouring Lorraine, Franche-Comté and the
town of Mulhouse (the latter was an independant Republic allied to
the Swiss Confederation until 1798!).

Although the Habsburg's 300-year rule came to an end in the carnage
and destruction of the Thirty-Year War, the XV and the XVI centuries
are still regarded as the the Upper Rhine's Golden Age. This is born
out by a number of edifices, such as Ferrette Town Hall or
the 'Hôtel de la Régence' (Regency House) in Ensisheim. It can also
be seen in the splendour of towns like Colmar, Fribourg-en-Brisgau
(Germany) and Alsatian wine-growing villages such as Riquewihr,
Rouffach or Turkheim.

"Di Mambro then arranged for Jouret to meet Julian Origas, a
supposed former Gestapo agent who had founded the Renewed Order of
the Temple (ORT), a group that combined Templar and Rosicrucian
ideas. In 1981, Jouret became a member of ORT, and at the time of
Origas's death in 1983, became Grand Master. Within a year, however,
he was forced out of the group, taking half of the members with him
(Hall 1997:291-292). Jouret, already involved with Di Mambro's
groups since 1982, was then able to fill Di Mambro's need for a
charismatic leader; not only did he have charisma, but he was also a
physician, and as such would be taken more seriously. Together the
two of them founded the Order of the Solar Temple in 1984, with Di
Mambro taking the backstage role and allowing Jouret to put on the
show.

"The first concerns Grace Kelly, Princess of Monaco (1928-1982). On
December 21, 1997 Channel Four in the UK aired a special by
investigative reporters David Carr-Brown and David Cohen. The
substance of their argument appeared in the US in an article
published on December 28, 1997 by the same Carr-Brown and Cohen in
the New York Post ("Mystery of Princess Grace & the Temple of
Doom"). A man who claimed to have been the driver of Joseph Di
Mambro (1924-1994) sold to the two British reporters a story on
Princess Grace and agreed to appear on Channel Four. According to
the man, disguised under the alias of "Georges Leroux", Princess
Grace was initiated into the OTS on June 15, 1982 in the Priory of
Villié-Morgon, Southern France. She further contributed -- according
to "Georges Leroux" - $ 10 millions to the OTS and agreed to pay
other $ 6 millions. She then became disillusioned with Di Mambro and
threatened to expose him. On September 13, 1982, she died in a car
accident, and "Leroux" implies that fool play orchestrated by Di
Mambro may have been involved.
