Articles page, you may be interested to know that the entire trilogy
was read aloud to Meher Baba while he was in seclusion in the 1960's"

Jesus/John was taken to the city of On-Heliopolis and stood in the 
shadow of the obelisk known as 'Cleopatra's Needle'. I believe these 
obelisks were erected in the place where the shadows of the Hybrid 
Solar Eclipse passed over. One writer suggests the core of the 
Egyptian cosmology is founded upon 'The Eye of Creation' which is 
also the Daimond Ring Affect caused by this eclipse. Was Jesus made 
a Bride of God as a newborn babe?

Meher Baba had the Ring Triology read to him three times, he no 
doubt coming to know the secret heart and core cosmology of the 
Celtic and Indo-European people whom were overcome by the Popes.

In 1987 I met with Baba followers from all over the world, and in a 
rose garden discussed whether a relgion should be formed around this 
Avatar. A week later, I read all of Luke for the first time, and set 
out to restore the original Nazarite 'Church of God'.

"Pope John Paul II and Prince Rainier died within a 6-day window of 
the April 8 Hybrid Solar Eclipse The Pope was born on May 18, 1920. 
On that date, in the morning, there was a near total eclipse of the 
sun over Europe.
 
An Eclipse represents/creates shifts in consciousness. It is the Eye 
of Creation - Diamond Ring Effect - Sacred Geometry - SG - Stargate

On April 8th. There was a eclipse of the sun that produced the 
Diamond Ring Effect also known as the Eye of Creation. An article on 
Astrology I found on the net made this observation;

Pope John Paul II and Prince Rainier died within a 6-day window of 
the April 8 Hybrid Solar Eclipse  believe it to be one of the oldest 
eclipse records in history!  I find my following astronomical 
interpretation very plausible: 
  
The Sun was high in the sky, totally eclipsed by the New Moon. Then 
it started to reappear as a hill of brilliant light (the Diamond 
Ring or Bailey's Beads seen around totality), the Benben Stone! The 
Phoenix or the Benu bird, could be, very probably, the solar corona 
(by analogy with my interpretation of the Hermopolitan cosmogony). 
  
The legend also associated creation with the image of the scarab 
beatle and the Benben at Heliopolis (13). By analogy with the 
results I obtained from the Hermopolitan cosmogony, the scarab 
beatle can be interpreted as the dark New Moon. The Primeval Hill 
was sometimes depicted in the hieroglyphs as a semi-circle (14). I 
find this very similar to the view of the daimond ring. 
  
Some ancient Egyptian total solar eclipse visible over Heliopolis 
must have inspired the legend and provided enough reason for the 
city's priests to claim that the Sun was borne in its temple, the 
mansion of the Phoenix.

the West), and that Baba's comment was that it was a "perfect
analogy for the spiritual path." I think there may have been a spot
of humorous irony in that comment, given that the documentary I'm
watching said that Tolkien disavowed and avoided all analogies! But
it's true--if the ring is taken as the ego, the other rings as the
senses and faculties, the elves and such as spiritual guides on the
astral plane, the wizards as spiritual masters, the hobbits as the
individual incarnated soul (jivatma), the act of throwing the ring
in the fire as the final annihilation of the ego-mind"

Some devotees claim Baba's interest in Tolkien gives his devotees a
degree of dedication to saving the invironment. The late Denis de 
Rougemont, and his friend the Aga Khan, formed a ecological group, 
Groupe de Bellerive, a private foundation that promotes conservation 
of the earth's natural resources and protection of all life forms 
and the environment. Rougemont was a co-founder of the European 
Union, and worked to found the UN. He is also a Grail scholar who no 
doubt knew of Tolkien's books.
